Inspired by the Slow Art Movement, this program invites participants to engage deeply with photographs from the Tampa Museum of Art's exhibition "Ancient Athens: Birthplace of Democracy."
In a world that often moves too quickly, Slow Looking encourages us to pause, observe, and discuss art in a meaningful way. Together, we will explore images of ancient Athenian sculptures, pottery, and artifacts, uncovering hidden details, discussing historical context, and sharing personal interpretations. No prior art knowledge is required! Art enthusiasts, history lovers, curious minds, and anyone who enjoys thoughtful conversation is welcome.
Recommended for Adults. Registration Required.
