The Gallery @ 2902 presents the artwork of Rose Millien.
Rose works with cardstock and fabric to create juxtaposed geometric forms that create patterns in color. Describing her work, "There is beauty all around us waiting to be seen and used, as well as potentially hiding inside us waiting to emerge. Since I don't plan my work, I let the ideas emerge intuitively, ending in an original and unique piece. I am fascinated with geometric lines, especially triangle shapes, that are noticeable everywhere to any observer. It portrays a higher level, balance, great foundation, power, prosperity. Every line, text, color and pattern, combine to produce these pieces that point to the endless possibilities of the human imagination, and the deep connection between humans and the world around us."
