Moody Community Meeting RoomEarly literacy begins at birth. Bond with your baby through stories, rhymes and songs in this 30-minute lapsit program that introduces early literacy skills and encourages language development.
For children ages 0-18 months and their caregiver.
Program capacity of 12 families with one ticket per family.

The Plant City Woman’s Club founded their volunteer community library in 1927. This project continued until 1959 when the residents of the City voted to fund a public library through their taxes. A small library was built by the City, staff was hired, and the library became a City department. In 1994, the Library was expanded, remodeled, and renamed in honor of Quintilla Geer Bruton and Judge James D. Bruton, Jr. The 20,000-square-foot facility currently houses:
- A collection of approximately 55,000 physical materials
- Over 20 computers and laptops for patron use
Interactive educational toys in the children’s area - The Mary Noel Moody community meeting room
- Several study rooms
- Billy’s Garden Space, a screened-in porch
- The Imagination Garden, a pocket garden located behind the building
