Moody Community Meeting RoomLet's talk about The Ghostwriter! A story about Ghostwriter Olivia Dumont, who is offered a job to ghostwrite her father's last book. Not just any book, however, the one about that night...
After fifty years of her father's silence, Vincent Taylor is finally ready to talk about what really happened that night. In June, 1975, the Taylor family was shattered when two teenage siblings were found dead in their own home. The Plant City Woman’s Club founded their volunteer community library in 1927. This project continued until 1959 when the residents of the City voted to fund a public library through their taxes. A small library was built by the City, staff was hired, and the library became a City department. In 1994, the Library was expanded, remodeled, and renamed in honor of Quintilla Geer Bruton and Judge James D. Bruton, Jr. The 20,000-square-foot facility currently houses:
- A collection of approximately 55,000 physical materials
- Over 20 computers and laptops for patron use
Interactive educational toys in the children’s area - The Mary Noel Moody community meeting room
- Several study rooms
- Billy’s Garden Space, a screened-in porch
- The Imagination Garden, a pocket garden located behind the building
