This workshop will teach patrons how to letter gothic minuscules, such as those used in the titles of beautiful classic fairy tales. This type of calligraphy can be done with modern markers or fountain pens and requires no prior knowledge or handwriting prowess to learn! After a lesson, participants will create their own illustrated book cover on cardstock. All materials provided.

The Upper Tampa Bay Regional Public Library was dedicated and opened to the public on January 8, 2005. Renamed in 2017 as the Maureen B. Gauzza Public Library, the 26,000 square foot facility offers a full range of services including books, magazines, DVDs, music, Internet access, a variety of programs and activities for children and adults, a large community room for meetings, and a beautiful gazebo.
